How Many Dog Rocks Does Your Dog Need? 🪨🐶

An image added to the post.
It’s not actually about the size of your dog…
When it comes to Dog Rocks, the amount you need depends on how many dogs you have, how many water bowls they use, and how much water each bowl holds!
An image added to the post.
💧 The simple rule
You need 200g of Dog Rocks for every 2 litres of water.
So, take a look at your dog’s water bowls:
2 litre bowl → 200g of Dog Rocks
4 litre bowl -> 400g of Dog Rocks
And if you have more than one water bowl you’ll need to work it out for each bowl. Every water source needs to be treated with Dog Rocks to work!

🐕 Got more than one dog?

No problem!
If your dogs share a water bowl, you only need to calculate the amount based on how much water is in that bowl.
If your dogs have separate bowls, simply calculate the amount needed for each one.
For example:
Two dogs + two 2-litre bowls =
200g of Dog Rocks in each bowl.
🪨 How often do you replace them?
Dog Rocks should be replaced every 2 months.
Just rinse them, place them in the water bowl and let them get to work.
And remember, Dog Rocks are
100% natural, vet-formulated Australian igneous rocks
designed to filter impurities from your dog’s drinking water. They don't change the pH of the water and aren't a medication.

🪨 DID YOU KNOW?

Dog Rocks don't change the pH of your dog's urine.
It might sound surprising, but Dog Rocks work in your dog's water, not by altering the acidity of their urine.
The naturally occurring minerals in Dog Rocks work through an ion-exchange process, helping to filter out impurities such as tin, ammonia and nitrates from your dog's drinking water.
So you can think of Dog Rocks as a little water filter for your dog's bowl — they sit in the water and do their job without changing its pH.

3 Things Every Dog Owner Should Know About Lawn Burn 🐶

An image added to the post.
If your grass is starting to look more yellow than green, your dog’s toilet habits could be the reason!
Here are 3 things every dog owner should know about lawn burn:
1. 💛 It’s not your dog “killing” the grass
Those yellow or brown patches are caused by the nitrogen and other compounds in dog pee.
A little nitrogen can help grass grow, but too much in one concentrated spot can damage it, leaving those familiar yellow patches behind.
2. 🌱 It can happen even with a healthy dog
Lawn burn isn't necessarily a sign that anything is wrong with your dog.
It can happen simply because your dog regularly pees in the same areas of the garden, concentrating the compounds on a small patch of grass.
So no, you don't need to ban your pup from the garden!
3. 🪨 You can help protect your lawn
This is where Dog Rocks come in.
Dog Rocks are the original 100% natural, vet-formulated solution for lawn burn. Simply place them in your dog's drinking water, where they work through ion exchange to filter nitrates, ammonia and tin from the water.
They don't change your dog's urine pH and they're not a medication. They're simply designed to help reduce the compounds that contribute to those yellow patches.

🌿 Your dog can keep doing what dogs do. Your lawn doesn't have to suffer for it.
Give your grass a little extra protection.
🌱 GARDEN MYTH:
“If I change my dog’s food, the yellow patches will disappear.”
Not necessarily.
Lawn burn is primarily about the concentrated compounds being deposited onto the grass when your dog urinates. Diet can influence dog pee composition, but changing your dog’s food isn't a guaranteed fix for lawn burn.

The rain is back… but those yellow patches aren't going anywhere. 🌧️

An image added to the post.
You might think all that autumn rain would be enough to keep your grass green.
But if your dog is still doing their business on the lawn, you may be seeing those familiar yellow patches appear...

🌧️ Rain won't stop lawn burn

Dog pee contains naturally occurring compounds such as nitrates that can damage grass and leave behind those unwanted yellow patches.
And while the rain might give your lawn some much-needed moisture, it doesn't stop urine from affecting your grass.
That's where Dog Rocks come in.

How do Dog Rocks actually work? 🪨💧

An image added to the post.
Ever looked at Dog Rocks sitting in your dog’s water bowl and thought... how can THAT possibly help my lawn? 😂
Here’s the simple version:
1. You add Dog Rocks to your dog’s water bowl.
Just pop the rocks into the bowl and let them do their thing.
2. The rocks filter the water.
Dog Rocks are made from natural Australian igneous rocks that help filter out impurities including nitrates, ammonia and tin from the water before your dog drinks it.
3. Your dog drinks the water as normal.
There’s no medication involved, and Dog Rocks don't change the pH of your dog's drinking water or urine.
4. Less lawn burn. 🌱
The idea is simple: cleaner drinking water means fewer of those unwanted yellow burn spots appearing on your grass.

And the best part?
There’s no complicated routine.
Simply use one 200g pack per 2 litres of water, keep the bowl topped up and replace your Dog Rocks approximately every two months.
A little rock. A cleaner bowl. A happier-looking lawn. 💚
